home (so far away)

• November 7th, 2007

i (kyle) wrote this one.  the lyrics were obvious as to what the song meant to me at first.  only later did i begin to understand that there may be much deeper yearnings inside of me that are bubbling over.

beauty where do you stay laughter come back i pray

home so far away

grace where have you gone mercy why have you run

home so far away

“i chose you”

• September 26th, 2007

i (kyle) wrote this and then rested on stef to tell me where i was breaking musical laws.  one take, raw as it can be. it’s the second song i’ve written in the last few weeks, this one being an adaptation of the poem i posted a few weeks ago…

spirit of john 15, matthew 13
